Reverence Exhibition

This body of work explores how humans form evolving relationships with natural materials. It documents the process from initial awe and curiosity, through learning and use, to a deeper, more reverent connection that inspires monuments honoring the material’s source. Using seaweed as a case study, it parallels how historical craftspeople develop a lasting, respect for their chosen material over time, to the point of divine reverence.
